WEAKONTOLOGY

WEAKONTOLOGY is a multimedia project presented as an audiovisual concert and a screen-based installation. The work is based on a concept akin to speculative archaeology, focusing on the analysis of what emerges from the information void resulting from the overproductive vortex of data.
Cloud formations swell into the morphology of explosions, suspended between atmospheric phenomenon and the afterimage of catastrophe; terrestrial surfaces fold and undulate until they assume the semblance of organic bodies, landscapes breathing as dormant anatomies awaiting recognition. Fragments testifying to collapses that belong to no recorded event.
The work, divided into chapters, consists of an orchestration of sound and visual elements, deprived of their coordinates and transfigured into pure and ephemeral spectral traces. The result is the construction of an unlocalizable universe, defined by geographies, images, and topologies that collapse onto one another; a repository of echoes without origin, in which all reference is nullified and intensity becomes the only classification parameter for sensible reality.
Through complex workflows that include machine learning processes, satellite scans, and manipulations of virtual scenarios, data fossils and artifacts emerge, eradicated from their original context, to then be examined and explored as elements belonging to a non-existent timeline.
